Dr. Sultan Qiblawi

Dr. Sultan Qiblawi is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Summit Dermatology PLLC, serving patients across southeast Michigan at our Southgate office. He brings a rare combination of clinical excellence, academic distinction, and genuine compassion to every patient encounter.

Dr. Qiblawi completed his medical education at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, where he graduated with the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honors — a distinction reserved for those in the top of their class who demonstrate outstanding scholarship and leadership. Recognizing the importance of healthcare leadership and practice management, he simultaneously earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Eli Broad College of Business at MSU.

He completed his internship year at Scripps Mercy Health before pursuing his dermatology specialty training at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, one of the nation's top academic dermatology programs. There, he trained across the full spectrum of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology under nationally recognized faculty.

Dr. Qiblawi is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD) and a proud member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society — an honor that reflects his commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. He believes that the best medicine happens when clinical expertise is paired with genuine empathy and clear communication.
